El evento está organizado por el Four Seasons Maldives Resort Maldives en Kuda Huraa, una preciosa isla llena de vegetación rodeada por una laguna de aguas cristalinas, un evento único, donde podrás disfrutar de surf de máximo nivel, con grandes figuras de reconocido prestigio a nivel mundial.
Este año, los invitados son especialistas en Pipeline Jamie O’Brien, ex competidor Tour Championship Travis Logie, Taj Burrow, el inspirador de Bethany Hamilton, y proveedora de estilo de California, Rob Machado.
Este año, el evento, también contará con el campeón de surf de Maldivas Hussain ‘Iboo’ Areef. Por supuesto, también el campeón de 2015, el hawaiano Shane Dorian también estará allí para defender su título.

The event is based at the Four Seasons Maldives Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, a garden island surrounded by a crystal lagoon, a truly unique event, where surfers ride singlefins in the first round, twin fins in the second and thrusters in the third round with a $25,000 purse.
This year, the invitees are Pipeline specialists Jamie O’Brien, former Championship Tour competitor Travis Logie, longtime tour legend Taj Burrow, the inspiring Bethany Hamilton, and California’s purveyor of style, Rob Machado.
This year will also include Maldives local champion Hussain ‘Iboo’ Areef. Of course, 2015 champ, Hawaiian Shane Dorian will also be there to defend his title.
